Both of this Nixon and Regan administration had significant role in opening up opportunities for African-American people. It has been evidenced that the Nixon administration sought to end discrimination of people of color. It was under his administration, tradition of segregated schools also ended. Nixon administration even opened up more job opportunities for the black people so that this community too could secure their societal and financial position. He ended discrimination in black colleges and endowed those college with funds, this is also known as Black capitalism. On the other hand, Regan administration, imposed tax cuts and eliminated federal regulations, and thus fostered economic improvements for the Black community
